Crunch Return Blair Yaworski to Johnstown

Syracuse, NY (January 2, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have returned left wing Blair Yaworski to Johnstown (ECHL).

Yaworski, 23, has appeared in 18 games for the Crunch this season, collecting eight penalty minutes. He has also skated in four games for Johnstown this year, recording six goals, one assist and eight penalty minutes. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Yaworski was signed by the Crunch to a standard players' contract on October 7, 2008.

The Crunch's next game is Friday, January 2 as they travel to Hamilton to take on the Bulldogs. The Crunch return home on January 16 as they take on the Albany River Rats at the War Memorial at Oncenter at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
