Wolf Pack Reach 500-Win Milestone

HARTFORD, January 2, 2009: The Hartford Wolf Pack's 3-1 win over the Western Conference's co-leaders, the Grand Rapids Griffins, Friday night at the XL Center was the 500th win in franchise history.
The triumph over the Griffins, who came into the game 7-0-1-0 in their previous eight games and 12-2-2-1 in their previous 17, upped the Pack's all-time record to 500(w)-289(l)-66(t)-39(otl)-21(sol) in 915 games in their 12-year existence. The Wolf Pack are 17-14-1-3 for 38 points through 35 games thus far this season, good for third place in the Atlantic Division.
