(June 11) - The scheduled two-game series finale at Ozinga Field between the Windy City ThunderBolts and Washington Wild Things has been postponed due to the threat of inclement weather in the Chicago area. The game, because Washington does not return to Ozinga Field in the 2026 regular season, will be made up Wednesday, June 24 as part of a single-admission doubleheader with game one starting at 5:05 p.m.

(June 10) - Anthony Brocato connected with two home runs in an eight-run Washington sixth inning and then hit his third homer, a solo shot in the eighth, for Washington's first-ever three-homer night, which highlighted a 13-0 drubbing of the Windy City ThunderBolts Wednesday night in the trip's opener. Zach Kirby spun six shutout innings with a season-best seven strikeouts and Wild Things pitchers combined to fan 13 ThunderBolts as the other highlight of the night.

June 9, 2026 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things are proud and excited to announce the contract of left-handed pitcher Tyler Davis will be purchased by the Boston Red Sox organization, pending the completion of a physical. Davis is the third Wild Thing to have his contract purchased this week after both infielder Graham Brown and right-handed pitcher had their contracts purchased in May. It'll be a return for Davis to affiliated ball, who spent 2025 with the Kansas City Royals organization.
