Storm Signs Jaylyn Sherrod to Player Development Contract

September 13, 2026 - SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm announced today the signing of Jaylyn Sherrod to the team's second player development roster spot. In 10 games with Atlanta this season, the 5-foot-7 guard averaged 2.3 points, 1.1 assists and 0.5 steals. Sherrod previously played for the New York Liberty, where she won the 2024 WNBA championship. Across her three seasons in the league, she has averaged 1.6 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists. Katie Lou Samuelson Undergoes Successful Knee Procedure

September 11, 2026 - Seattle Storm guard Katie Lou Samuelson will miss the remainder of the 2026 WNBA season after having an arthroscopic procedure on her left knee on Thursday, September 10, 2026. September 10, 2026 - SEATTLE - Seattle Storm forward/center Ezi Magbegor suffered a torn right anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) Wednesday during Australia's qualifying final against Italy in the 2026 FIBA World Cup and will miss the remainder of the 2026 WNBA season.
