August 4, 2025 - Greeneville Flyboys pitcher Freddy Beruvides has been named Appalachian League Pitcher of the Month. The lefty, newly committed to the University of Pittsburgh, was dominant in the month of July for the Flyboys. In four games, Beruvides pitched 14.2 innings, giving up only three hits, zero earned runs and an astonishing 18 strikeouts. Appalachian League Names Kam Durnin, Freddy Beruvides Players of the Month for July

August 4, 2025 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Appalachian League announced that Kingsport's Kam Durnin (Missouri) was named the Player and Greeneville's Freddy Beruvides (Pittsburgh) was named the Pitcher of the Month for July. Durnin, 20, earned Player of the Month honors after he slashed .402/.505/.707 with a 1.212 OPS in 20 July games for Kingsport. The Axmen infielder finished 33-for-82 with five home runs and 31 RBI. August 1, 2025 - Greeneville Flyboys pitcher Kyle Bade has been named Appalachian League Pitcher of the Week after a dominant outing July 25 in Johnson City against the Bristol State Liners. The lefty, newly committed to the University of San Diego, came out firing in a crucial game last Friday. The Flyboys needed a win to stay ahead of the bottom half of the division to clinch a playoff spot. Paul Jones II, Kyle Bade Earn Appalachian League Weekly Honors

August 1, 2025 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Appalachian League announced that Kingsport's Paul Jones II (Maryland) and Greeneville's Kyle Bade (San Diego) were named the Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for the period of July 21-30. Jones, 19, led the Appalachian League with four home runs and a 1.658 OPS from July 21-30 en route to Play of the Week honors. In seven games for Kingsport, Jones slashed .381/.563/1.095.
