Iowa Energy Acquire Zach Andrews and Two Draft Picks

Des Moines, Iowa. - The Iowa Energy have acquired forward Zach Andrews from the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the team announced today. In addition, the Energy acquired Los Angeles' 2016 fifth round draft pick and Erie's 2016 fifth round draft pick. In exchange, the Energy will trade forward Michael Holyfield and a 2016 fourth round draft pick to Los Angeles. The trade is pending completion of physicals.

Andrews (6-9, 230) has posted averages of 5.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.7 blocks and 13.3 minutes in 19 games (4 starts) for the D-Fenders this season. Andrews went undrafted in the 2007 NBA Draft out of Bradley University and has played in 106 NBA D-League games for Los Angeles while posting career averages of 7.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 22.4 minutes.

Holyfield (6-11, 270) has averaged 3.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 0.5 blocks and 12.5 minutes in 22 games (no starts) for the Energy this season.
