Moose Sign Defenceman Dysin Mayo
July 6, 2026 - WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team signed defenceman Dysin Mayo to a two-year AHL contract through the 2027-28 season.
Mayo, 29, tallied 29 points (3G, 26A) alongside a plus-16 rating in 59 games with the Cleveland Monsters during the 2025-26 campaign. The defender also posted three assists in nine Calder Cup Playoff games with Cleveland, and notched one assist in three NHL games with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Goldeyes Roll Past Dogs in Rosemont
July 4, 2026 - ROSEMONT, IL - The Winnipeg Goldeyes (20-24) defeated the Chicago Dogs 8-2 in a rain-shortened contest at Impact Field Friday evening.
Winnipeg opened the scoring in the opening frame when centre fielder Noah Marcelo singled up the middle to drive in shortstop Ray-Patrick Didder.
Chicago (14-29) quickly evened things up however, as centre fielder Giovanni DiGiacomo led off the bottom of the inning with a home run to centre that made it 1-1.

Goldeyes Add Two More All-Stars
July 1, 2026 - WINNIPEG, MB - Winnipeg Goldeyes right-handed relievers Derrick Cherry and Eli Saul will join outfielder Noah Marcelo as West Division All-Stars for this month's American Association All-Star Game, the league announced Wednesday.
Cherry has assumed the closer's role in 2026 and has excelled in his opportunities. The 25-year-old ranks second in the 12-team league in saves with seven and has not recorded a blown save. His 2.75 earned run average is second among Goldeyes pitchers.

Goldeyes Rebound to Split Twin Bill
July 1, 2026 - WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes (19-23) split a doubleheader with the Kansas City Monarchs Tuesday at Blue Cross Park, dropping the opener 12-0 before taking the nightcap 11-3.
In game one, Kansas City (23-17) starter Ryan García (W, 6-2) was dominant. The right-hander threw a complete game, three-hit shutout. He struck out three and walked one. The three hits he gave up were all singles.
