Empire Issues Statement on Tri-Cities Fever

June 30, 2016 - SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Empire released a statement today regarding the recent announcement by Tri-Cities Fever Owner Teri Carr on the team's decision to go dormant and not participate in the 2017 Indoor Football League Season. 2016 All-IFL Teams Announced

June 30, 2016 - SPOKANE, Wash. - The Indoor Football League announced the All-IFL First and Second Team honors for the 2016 regular season. Six Empire players received recognition. Three Empire players received All-IFL First Team honors including running back Trevor Kennedy, offensive lineman Dave Lefotu, and defensive back Robert Brown. Chiefs Power Play Goals Score $1,200 Avista Donation to Project Share

June 29, 2016 - SPOKANE, Wash. - Avista Utilities donated a total of $1,200 to Project Share through the Avista Power Play Program during the 2015-16 season with the Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club. Avista pledged to make a $25 donation to Project Share for every power play goal the Chiefs scored, home and away. Project Share is a partnership between utilities and community action agencies that provides "emergency" energy assistance to qualified households that have exhausted all other energy assistance resources...
