Empire Break the Fever in 53-51 Comeback Win

April 30, 2016 - SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Empire (7-1, 4-1) defeated the Tri-Cities Fever (3-6, 3-4) in Week 11 of the 2016 Indoor Football League season by a final score of 53-51 in front of 6,507 fans at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. For the second straight week the Empire defeated their in-state rival, but in very different fashion in Week 11 then Spokane's first two victories on the road in Tri-Cities. Avista Stadium Selected as NCAA Regional Site

April 29, 2016 - SPOKANE, Wash. - Avista Stadium, in conjunction with Whitworth University and the Spokane Sports Commission, has been selected as the site for the 2016 NCAA Division III Baseball West Regional May 18-22. Empire Makes Midseason Roster Moves

April 27, 2016 - SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Empire has signed two new players to their 2016 roster in defensive lineman D.J. Yendrey and Diondre Borel who has the ability to play quarterback and wide receiver. Yendrey (DL, 6-4, 280, Texas State) joins the Empire for his rookie season as a member of the IFL.
