Andrew Loewen Announces Retirement from the Columbus Cottonmouths

October 16, 2015 - COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Fan favorite, Andrew Loewen, will not be returning to the ice to protect the net for the Snakes. Loewen's drive off the ice made him the success he was on the ice. This Winnipeg native had a long and inspiring career starting at Canisius College. Right out of college, the Snakes knew that Loewen had potential. In 2010, the Columbus Cottonmouths signed Andrew. October 13, 2015 - COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) signed five players from their free agent training camp, held this past weekend in Columbus, Georgia. September 24, 2015 - COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) are hosting a Face Off Field Trip on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at the Columbus Civic Center. This free event is sponsored by AFLAC and is open to all grades and all schools.
