Lions Add Former All-American to Defensive Secondary

March 19, 2019 - The Columbus Lions organization has come to terms with defensive back Tyler Thornton for the 2019 NAL season. Thornton steps into a Lions defense that has the potential to become the best defense in all of Arena football. Thornton comes to Columbus as a rookie to Arena football, but no rookie to professional football as he comes to the Lions fresh off of a stint from the San Diego Fleet of the fledgling Alliance of American Football.
