Now entering his fourth professional season, Semmle's career has spanned MLS and the USL Championship with the Philadelphia Union, North Carolina FC and Louisville City FC. Lexington Sporting Club Acquires Star Striker Phillip Goodrum from Louisville City FC

December 29, 2025 - LEXINGTON, Ky. - In Lexington Sporting Club's second blockbuster offseason move in as many weeks, the club has acquired forward Phillip Goodrum from Louisville City FC, pending league and federation approval. The 2022 USL Championship All-League First Team forward has established himself as one of the league's premier scorers, amassing 59 goals and 14 assists over the last four seasons. Alfredo Midence Under Contract for 2026 USL Championship Season with LSC

December 23, 2025 - LEXINGTON, Ky. - Midfielder Alfredo Midence is returning to the Bluegrass for the second year of his multi-year contract in 2026. Midence appeared 17 times for Lexington across all competitions in 2025, logging 1,011 total minutes. He started eight consecutive matches for the Greens from May 24-Aug. 1, then started the club's final two matches of the season. Nick Firmino Returns to Lexington Sporting Club in 2026

December 22, 2025 - LEXINGTON, Ky. - A mainstay in Lexington SC's starting XI a season ago, midfielder Nick Firmino returns to the club in 2026 for the second year of his multi-year deal. The Brazilian appeared in all 30 of the club's USL Championship matches in 2025, as well as its two U.S. Open Cup contests and three of its four Jägermeister Cup matches.
