January 15, 2010 - ECHL (ECHL)
Atlanta Gladiators News Release

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that forward Tom Zanoski has been called up to the American Hockey League's Albany River Rats. Zanoski returns to the AHL just three days after a 10-game stint with the Binghamton Senators, in which he registered one assist, a plus-minus rating of -3 and six penalty minutes. In 25 games with the Gladiators this season, Zanoski has posted 18 goals and 15 assists for 33 points and 28 penalty minutes.

Zanoski, a third-year pro out of Dalhousie University, made his pro debut with the Stockton Thunder in 2007 before returning to Dalhousie to wrap up the 2007-08 season. He then rejoined the pro ranks last season, spending short stints with Stockton and Dayton before being traded in January of 2009 to Gwinnett, where he played 31 regular season games and led the Gladiators with eight points in five playoff contests. In 104 ECHL games, Zanoski has recorded 76 points on 39 goals and 37 assists. While at Dalhousie University he tallied 60 points in 66 games over three seasons.

Prior to Dalhousie University, Zanoski skated four junior seasons in the Ontario Hockey League from 2001-2005, splitting time between the Owen Sound Attack and Mississauga IceDogs.

The Gladiators continue their 7th season in the ECHL on Saturday, January 16th vs. Charlotte at 7:05 p.m. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and Columbus Blue Jackets and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
