Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers ® announced today the team will partner with the NSPCA Foundation to raise money for animal cruelty prevention.
As part of the Wranglers Community First Awareness Program, fans may purchase a $16.00 ticket with a portion of the proceeds going to the NSPCA. Fans may purchase these tickets by going to www.nevadaspca.org and clicking on the ticket link. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Wranglers pet bowl. The NSPCA will be handing out information on the concourse at the game against Alaska this Friday at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena.
The Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a non-profit organization that operates a no-kill animal sanctuary, promotes humane education, rescues animals and makes a life-time commitment to rescued animals in the community, until they are adopted or pass on. The organization has been in Clark County for over 25 years and they continue a strong presence in the valley. The NSPCA started in a garage with small cages to help rescue animals, and the organization now has built 120 kennels, cat condos, rabbit and guinea pig havens and a medical unit in a 10,000 square feet building. The NSPCA is running short on room and needs more space. The NSPCA is located at 4800 W. Dewey Drive and is open six days a week: Monday - Thursday from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm and Friday- Saturday from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. The NSPCA may be reached by calling (702)-873-7722 (SPCA) or online at www.nevadaspca.org.
The Wranglers will host Alaska on Thursday and Friday night at 7:05 pm. The Wranglers will then embark on a three-game road trip with stops in Utah, Fresno and Phoenix.
Individual game tickets are now on sale. 2008 Kelly Cup Playoff packages are now available.
Fans may purchase tickets on the Wranglers team website at www.lasvegaswranglers.com or the Orleans Arena website (www.orleansarena.com). Fans may also purchase tickets at any of the following locations in the valley: Galleria Mall, Orleans Casino showroom box office, Gold Coast Casino showroom box office and the Suncoast Casino showroom box office. Tickets may be ordered by phone at (702)-284-7777.
