Dayton Bombers News Release

Dayton, OH- The Dayton Bombers General Manager Don MacAdam and Head Coach Bill McDonald announced today that forward Matt Beaudoin has been called up to the Syracuse Crunch of the "AAA" American Hockey League. He is expected to be in the Crunch lineup for tonight's game against the Hamilton Bulldogs.

"Simply put, Matt deserves this call-up," MacAdam said. "He's having a great season and keeps improving his game."

Beaudoin, who currently leads the ECHL in goals scored (36), has previously been promoted to the Iowa Stars and Rochester Americans. In total, the Quebec native has seen action in four games in the AHL without tallying a point.

The rookie, who earlier in the season was named a starter for the American Conference All-Stars, leads the Bombers in scoring with 65 points (36g,29a) in 58 games. He ranks 10th in the league in overall scoring, 7th amongst rookies. He is tied for second in the ECHL with 15 power play goals and stands tied for third in game winning goals (6).

The Syracuse Crunch are the "AAA" affiliate of the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets.
