Las Vegas Wranglers News Release

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today the ENERGY STAR Residential Lighting program will be sponsoring the Wranglers game on Friday, November 30th at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena against Idaho.

As part of the promotion, Nevada Power and the Las Vegas Wranglers will hand out 5,000 energy efficient light bulbs. One lucky fan will have the opportunity to win an ENERGY STAR compliant washer and dryer.

The game sponsorship is one of many activities in 2007 for the overall ENERGY STAR Change a Light, Change the World campaign. This campaign is a national challenge to encourage every American to help change the world, one light - one energy-saving step - at a time. Sponsored by the EPA and DOE, the campaign kicks off every year on the first Wednesday of October and lasts through the end of November.

For more than four years, Nevada Power Company (NPC) has operated the ENERGY STAR® Residential Lighting Program, a market-based residential Demand Side Management (DSM) project that reaches residential customers through the retail channel. The Program provides direct incentives to consumers to encourage retail purchases of energy-efficient lighting products. Direct incentives are typically delivered to NPC customers through discounted pricing for ENERGY STAR qualified lighting products. The NPC ENERGY STAR Lighting Program has gone from a simple education and outreach effort to a full-fledged market transformation program that delivers quantifiable savings and results.

The Wranglers continue their six-game home stand with Bakersfield on Tuesday, November 27th at 7:05 pm. Las Vegas will host Idaho for a three-game set starting on Thursday at 9:30 am.

Individual game tickets are now on sale. Fans may purchase tickets on the Wranglers team website at www.lasvegaswranglers.com or the Orleans Arena website (www.orleansarena.com).
