HOME ON THE RANGE
Starting with Wednesday's matchup with San Antonio, the Wolves will play four of their next five games at home; Chicago has posted a .633 winning percentage (9-5-0-1) in 15 contests on home ice, while playing the second fewest home games in the American Hockey League this season.

--- ZACH BOGOSIAN: Notched his first career professional point, a power-play goal, in his first game with Chicago on Jan. 3 after being assigned by the Atlanta Thrashers for a conditioning stint earlier in the day ... Appeared in nine outings with the Thrashers this season, collecting 13 penalty minutes ... Selected by Atlanta with their first choice, third overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft after pacing the Peterborough Petes (OHL) with 50 assists and 61 points last season
-- JOE MOTZKO: Ranks first on the team and is tied for second in the AHL with 23 goals in 37 games this season ... Leads the team and shares 11th in the AHL with 36 points ... Paces the club and ranks second in the AHL with 10 power-play markers ... Posted nine points (7G, 2A) during a season-high seven game point streak from Dec. 19 to Jan. 2 which included potting a goal in all seven games, matching the longest goal scoring streak in the AHL this season ... Ranked third on the Wolves and 14th in the AHL with a career-high 70 points in 72 games last season
--- JEFF HAMILTON: Leads the team with 20 assists and ranks second with 26 points and five power-play goals despite appearing in just 24 games this season ... Tallied at least one point in 17 of his 24 outings with the Wolves, which includes five multiple-point outings - three of which were three or more ... His average of 1.08 points per game ranks first on the team ... Posted nine goals, 15 assists and 24 points in 58 games with the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes and nine points (3G, 6A) in nine AHL matchups with the Albany River Rats last year
--- SPENCER MACHACEK: Ranks first among Wolves rookies and shares fourth on the team with seven goals ... Holds seventh on the club with 17 points and second with a +11 plus/minus rating in 34 outings this season ... Led the Vancouver Giants (WHL) with 33 goals and 78 points, which ranked 14th in the league, in 70 regular-season games last season

--- The Wolves have outshot their opponents six times in their last seven games and have posted a 11-7-2-1 record when outgunning their foes; Chicago ranks eighth in the league in shots for (30.8 per game) and shots against (28.1 per game).
--- Chicago lost for just the second time this season when scoring four or more goals on Saturday; the Wolves have posted an .833 winning percentage when potting four or more markers this season (10-2-0-0).
--- The Wolves have allowed eight goals in their last two home games after allowing one in each of their previous three home matchups; Chicago ranks eighth in the circuit with a 2.73 goals-against average.
--- The Wolves have tallied three man advantage markers in the last two games after netting three in their previous six outings; Chicago ranks 28th in the league with an 12.6 percent efficiency rating on the power play (25 of 199).

--- Goaltenders BRENT KRAHN (six saves on 10 shots) and DAN TURPLE (12 saves on 13 shots) split time between the pipes in TURPLE's loss

--- The Wolves rallied to tie the game, 2-2, midway through the third period, but the Rockford IceHogs scored with 56 seconds remaining to take a 3-2 win at the Allstate Arena Friday night
--- Right wing JOE MOTZKO and defenseman BRIAN SIPOTZ dented the net for the Wolves
--- Goaltender BRENT KRAHN made 32 saves on 35 shots

--- The Wolves held a 1-0 lead for 55:20, until allowing a late third period goal and were unable to recover before falling, 2-1, in overtime to the Manitoba Moose at the MTS Centre Wednesday night
--- Right wing JOE MOTZKO netted the lone goal for the Wolves
--- Goaltender BRENT KRAHN posted 20 saves in regulation and overtime
Tue., Dec. 30

--- Chicago cracked a 1-1 tie with three second period goals and held on for a 6-2 win over the Manitoba Moose at the MTS Centre Tuesday night
--- Forwards JUNIOR LESSARD, RILEY HOLZAPFEL, RYLAN KAIP, JOE MOTZKO, SPENCER MACHACEK and JEFF HAMILTON tallied for the Wolves
--- Goaltender BRENT KRAHN registered 17 saves on 19 shots
