Amerks Hit the Community the First Week of the New Year

Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans will begin a busy week of appearances in the Rochester area tonight. The "Power Play" Radio Show begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Winton Rd. Distillery (3010 Winton Rd.). Guests on the show include Jacob Micflikier and Head Coach Benoit Groulx.

The Amerks "Reading Power Play" will also continue this week with three readings to take place. On Tuesday, January 6th Jacob Micflikier will visit the Pittsford Community Library (24 State Street) as he reads to kids, answers questions, dresses up one lucky participant and signs autographs.

An Amerk player will also be at the Maplewood Community Library (1111 Dewey Ave.) on Wednesday, January 7th at 4:00 p.m. followed by another appearance at the Winton Branch (611 Winton Rd.) at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Kenndal McArdle, along with Keaton Ellerby, will appear at the Original Charbroil House (1395 Island Cottage Rd., 14612) for the fourth Pucks and Plates appearance at 6:00 p.m. to meet with fans and to sign autographs.
