WOLVES REWIND (2-3-0-0)

Sun., Feb. 12 Chicago 5, (at) Milwaukee 2 --- Chicago snapped a 2-2 tie with three third-period goals en route to a 5-2 victory against the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center --- Forwards RAMZI ABID and KARL STEWART each collected a goal and an assist, while forwards PAT DWYER, DEREK MacKENZIE and COLIN STUART also scored --- Goaltender TUOMAS TARKKI registered 24 saves on 26 shots

Sat., Feb. 11 Philadelphia 6, (at) Chicago 1 --- The Wolves surrendered four goals in the middle frame and never recovered as they fell, 6-1, to the Philadelphia Phantoms at the Allstate Arena --- Right wing SCOTT BARNEY earned the team's lone tally, while center KIP MILLER and defenseman JIMMY SHARROW added assists --- Netminders TUOMAS TARKKI (13-16) and MICHAEL GARNETT (5-8) combined for 18 saves in TARKKI's loss

Fri., Feb. 10 Chicago 5, (at) Cleveland 3 --- Chicago used three goals in the second period to earn a 5-3 win against the Cleveland Barons at the Quicken Loans Arena --- Six Wolves tallied two points, led by right wing SCOTT BARNEY's two goals --- Goaltender TUOMAS TARKKI turned aside 26 of 29 shots

Wed., Feb. 8 Syracuse 3, (at) Chicago 1 --- Chicago couldn't climb out of a three-goal, second-period hole as the Syracuse Crunch dealt them a 3-1 loss at the Allstate Arena --- Center DEREK MacKENZIE recorded the Wolves' lone goal with defensemen NICK NAUMENKO and MARK POPOVIC posting assists --- Netminder ADAM BERKHOEL registered 18 saves

Tue., Feb. 7 (at) Iowa 6, Chicago 4 --- The Wolves watched a 4-3 second-period lead slip away as they allowed three third-period goals en route to a 6-4 loss against the Iowa Stars at Wells Fargo Arena --- Right wing BILLY TIBBETTS (2G) and defenseman JIMMY SHARROW (2A) led the way with two points each --- Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT recorded 33 saves

--- DEREK MacKENZIE: Collected five points (2G, 3A) in his last five games after being held to one assist in his previous five outings ... Netted his franchise-best 16th career short-handed goal with Sunday's game-winner ... Accrued nine assists and 15 points in 21 tilts this season

--- RAMZI ABID: Posted his team-leading 26th goal of the season on Sunday to match the career-high 26 he notched in 78 games with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins last season ... Shares sixth in the AHL with a team-high 13 power-play goals and 10th with a team-best 54 points in 47 contests ... Paces the team with 28 assists and ranks second with 115 penalty minutes

--- TUOMAS TARKKI: Registered two wins in three games last week after being recalled from the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators on Thursday ... Paces Wolves goaltenders with eight wins, 18 appearances, 993 minutes played and 417 saves

WOLF TRACKS

--- Chicago matched a franchise-high two short-handed goals in Sunday's third period; the Wolves have netted an AHL-best 10 shorties on the road this season.

--- The Wolves surrendered four goals by Philadelphia forward Tony Voce on Saturday, marking just the third time in franchise history an opposing player has acquired four goals against the Wolves.

--- Chicago has held its opponents without a power-play goal nine times this season (3-4-1-1), which includes the games on Wednesday and Sunday.

--- The Wolves will play three of their next five games on the road; the team has posted a 10-11-0-6 mark away from the Allstate Arena this season.

On Wed., Feb. 15, Wolves center JARED ROSS will visit the Midlothian Public Library, 14701 S. Kenton Ave., at 5 p.m., and the Tinley Park Public Library, 14921 Ravinia Ave., at 7 p.m., as part of the team's "Read to Succeed" program, which has reached nearly 370,000 children in 10 seasons.
