Bulldogs Play Four In Five

The Hamilton Bulldogs (20-31-0-3) will play four games in five nights this weekend, beginning with ‘This is Your Team' night on Wednesday, February 15 when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies (27-21-4-0) at Copps Coliseum (7:30 p.m.). The Bulldogs have a number of promotions planned for Wednesday's game against the Marlies including announcing the Hamilton Spectator All-Decade Team as well as unveiling a new alternate jersey, which will be worn for at least one game during the 2006-07 season. In addition, the winner of the 820 CHAM The Legend's ‘This is Your Sign' and ‘New Year, New Cheer' contests will be announced. Further details regarding Wednesday's game will be released on Tuesday.

After facing the Marlies, Hamilton will travel to Grand Rapids to take on the Griffins (37-12-1-3) on Friday, February 17 at the Van Andel Arena (7:00 p.m.). The Bulldogs will wrap up the weekend by playing two home games against the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights (21-23-2-7) on Saturday, February 18 (7:00 p.m.), and Sunday, February 19 (4:00 p.m.).

Player Notes

- C Maxim Lapierre is on a three-game point streak, collecting four points (1g-3a) during that stretch.

- D Dan Smith has recorded an assist in each of his last two games.

- C Marc-Antoine Pouliot, who earned two assists in the Bulldogs' 4-3 shootout loss to the Rochester Americans on Friday, February 10, leads the team with nine multipoint games this season.

- LW Michael Lambert scored a goal with the Bulldogs on the penalty kill against the Americans. Lambert is now tied for the team lead with Andrei Kostitsyn, Duncan Milroy, and Maxim Lapierre with two shorthanded goals this season.

- C J.J. Hunter has recorded one point in each of his last two games. Hunter scored his first goal as a Bulldog in Hamilton's 4-3 loss to the Portland Pirates on Saturday, February 11.

- C Francis Lemieux and D Jean-Philippe Cote also scored against the Pirates. Lemieux's goal was his first since December 30, while Cote's marker was his first since being reassigned by the Montreal Canadiens on February 8.

- RW Duncan Milroy had his four-game point streak snapped in the Bulldogs' 4-1 victory over the San Antonio Rampage of Sunday, February 12. Milroy recorded six points (3g-3a) during the streak.

- LW Pierre Dagenais scored and added two assists against the Rampage. The goal was Dagenais' first since being assigned to Hamilton by the Montreal Canadiens on January 10. It was his first multipoint game this season as a Bulldog.

- D Johnathan Aitken earned his first point in nine games when he collected an assist against the Rampage.

Friday, February 10 - Oilers C Jarret Stoll recorded two assists and LW Raffi Torres scored his 19th goal of the season as Edmonton dropped a 6-3 decision to the Minnesota Wild.

- Dallas C Steve Ott earned an assist as the San Jose Sharks doubled up the Dallas Stars 6-3.
