Canucks Re-Assign Mojzis, Ouellet to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have re-assigned defenceman Tomas Mojzis and goaltender Maxime Ouellet to the Moose.

Mojzis, 23, played in five games and collected one assist and eight penalty minutes during his first-ever recall to the Canucks. The native of Kolin, Czech Republic has appeared in 32 games so far this season with the Moose. He has scored four goals and nine assists for 13 points and 42 penalty minutes. Mojzis suffered a broken jaw in the fourth game of the season in Omaha (Oct. 12/05) and missed the next 16 games

Ouellet, 24, has appeared in four games with Vancouver this season, and has a record of 0-2-1 with a goals against average of 3.24 and a save percentage of .894. In five games with the Moose, the Beauport, PQ native is 4-1-0 with a goals against average of 2.59 and a save percentage of .907. He was acquired by the Canucks from the Washington Capitals in exchange for a fifth round draft pick in 2006 on Dec. 2/05.
