WOLVES HEADLINERS

--- DARREN HAYDAR: Recorded his 25th goal of the season in Saturday's loss after being held without a point in the previous two outings ... Tallied at least one point in each of the first 39 tilts this season, which established both a league and franchise record ... Leads the AHL with 55 assists - just two shy of matching a career high - and 80 points and shares fourth with 25 goals in 42 games this season

--- CORY LAROSE: Dished out two assists on Saturday, his first multiple-point outing in seven games and his ninth overall this season ... Posted four points (G, 3A) in his last six contests after notching 12 points (G, 11A) in his previous six ... Ranks second on the team with 27 assists and third with 36 points in 26 tilts

--- TROY MILAM: Matched a career-high three points with a goal and two assists on Saturday after being held without a point in his previous four matchups ... Notched 11 assists and an AHL career-high 14 points in 20 games this season

--- NATHAN OYSTRICK: Accrued nine points (3G, 6A) in his last eight contests, which includes an assist on Saturday ... Ranks second among AHL defensemen and paces league rookie blueliners with nine goals and 26 points in 42 outings this season ... Registered seven power-play goals this season, which leads AHL defensemen and ranks third on the squad

--- DEREK MacKENZIE: Tallied his 10th goal of the season on Saturday, his third point in the last five games (2G, A) after being reassigned by the Atlanta Thrashers on Jan. 3 ... Shares third on the team with 10 markers and ranks seventh with 20 points in 33 matchups this season ... Recorded 10 markers and 22 points in 36 games with Chicago last year

Right wing DARREN HAYDAR's historic point streak ended at 39 games after he was held off the scoresheet for the first time this season in last Tuesday's loss to Peoria. The Toronto native's run finished tied for the fourth-longest streak of its kind in professional hockey history.

WOLF TRACKS

--- The Wolves, who are currently on a season-high four-game losing streak, still share third in the AHL with 26 wins and rank fourth in the standings overall with 55 points (26-13-1-2).

--- Chicago registered all three of its goals on the power play on Saturday, the 10th time this year the squad has connected on the man-advantage at least three times in a contest.

--- The Wolves lead the AHL with 66 power-play goals on a league-high 316 chances; the squad was given a season-most 14 man-advantage opportunities in Saturday's loss.

--- Friday's 1-0 shutout loss against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton marked the first time the Wolves were shut out this season and the 39th time in franchise history; the blanking marked just the eighth time in 13 years of regular and postseason play that Chicago was dealt a 1-0 defeat.

--- The Wolves have won just two of seven meetings against opponents from the North Division this season (2-5-0-0).

--- Saturday's 41-shot effort marked the eighth time this season that Chicago posted 40 or more shots in a contest.

--- Chicago scored twice in the third period but could not overcome a three-goal deficit as the Hamilton Bulldogs handed them a 6-3 defeat at the Allstate Arena
--- Defenseman TROY MILAM collected a goal and and two assists while forwards DARREN HAYDAR and DEREK MacKENZIE also posted markers
--- Netminder MICHAEL GARNETT recorded 25 saves

Fri., Jan. 12 Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 1, (at) Chicago 0
--- Netminder JEFF DROUIN-DESLAURIERS registered 29 saves on 29 shots as the Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins blanked the Wolves, 1-0, at the Allstate Arena
--- Chicago goaltender FRED BRATHWAITE turned aside 28 of the 29 shots he faced

Tue., Jan. 9 Peoria 2, (at) Chicago 1
--- Chicago led early but allowed two power-play goals before being handed its fourth straight defeat at the Allstate Arena, a 2-1 loss against the Peoria Rivermen
--- Center CORY LAROSE tallied the Wolves' only marker
--- Goaltender FRED BRATHWAITE recorded 17 saves in the loss
