The Wolf Pack set a franchise record by extending their road winning streak to six consecutive games, and moved to within four points of first place in the Atlantic Division, with a 4-1 victory over first-place Manchester on Sunday. That capped off a 3-0-0-0 week, as the Pack also registered shootout wins in Portland Saturday (2-1) and at Albany Wednesday (4-3). Al Montoya went a combined nine for 10 in the two shootouts, and Steve Valiquette won his third straight decision Sunday, with 30 saves. The Wolf Pack have won five straight games overall, tying a team season high, and are unbeaten in regulation in a team season-best eight consecutive contests (7-0-1-0).

This week:

The Wolf Pack play four more Atlantic Division games, in a span of five days, this week. The Pack return home Wednesday to host the Providence Bruins (7:00), then make another visit to Portland on Friday evening (7:05). Saturday finds the Wolf Pack traveling to Lowell (7:05), and then they are back at the Hartford Civic Center on Sunday, for a DATTCO I-91 Challenge tilt vs. Springfield (4:00).

Tuesday, January 16 - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410

This week's edition of the Wolf Pack's weekly hour-long Tuesday-night talk show features Craig Weller and Mark Lee as scheduled guests. Wolf Pack Confidential airs live from 7-8 PM from Little Mark's Big Barbecue, located at 279 West Main St. (Rt. 44) in Avon. Fans are invited to be on hand at Little Mark's for the show, and the guests will be taking questions from the live audience. Wednesday, January 17 vs. Providence at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m.

After having fallen into last place in the Atlantic Division, the Bruins have won four straight games to climb all the way up into fourth place (20-18-1-2, 43 pts.).

The Wolf Pack and Providence have split four games this year, and both clubs are 1-1-0-0 in action at the Hartford Civic Center.

Bruin scoring leader Kris Versteeg (18-19-37 in 36 GP) is tied with the Wolf Pack's Ryan Callahan for third among AHL rookies in points.

Selected Wolf Pack players will be conducting a free postgame autograph session in the Lower Mezzanine area of the Civic Center.

Friday, January 19 at Portland (Cumberland County Civic Center), 7:05 p.m.

The third-place Pirates are one point behind the Wolf Pack in the Atlantic Division standings, at 20-13-1-5 for 46 points.

After losing the first game of this year's season series, the Pack have defeated Portland four straight times, allowing a total of only one goal in the last three meetings.

Darien, CT native Ryan Shannon has struck for 2-5-7 in six games for the Pirates since being assigned to Portland by the parent Anaheim Ducks.

Saturday, January 20 at Lowell (Paul E. Tsongas Arena), 7:05 p.m.

After winning back-to-back games, the Devils (19-17-2-1, 41 pts.) are part of a three-way tie for fifth place in the Atlantic.

The Wolf Pack have yet to beat the Devils, a first-year franchise in the AHL, having gone 0-3-0-0 in the first three get-togethers.

Veteran Justin Papineau is Lowell's top point-getter, with 12-17-29 in 29 games.

Sunday, January 21 vs. Springfield at the Hartford Civic Center, 4:00 p.m.

The Wolf Pack are 2-2-0-0 in the new DATTCO I-91 Challenge vs. the Falcons, and the two clubs have split a pair of games at the Hartford Civic Center.

Springfield has hit a four-game skid and has dropped to the .500 mark overall, 20-20-0-1 for 41 points, and is tied with Lowell and Worcester for the fifth spot in the Atlantic Division.

Eric Healey, who leads the Falcons in scoring with 17-30-47 in 41 games, has climbed up to seventh in the league in points.
