HELPING HANDS AUCTION RAISES OVER $7,000
The final numbers are in, and it's officially another great year for the Children's Miracle Network! The auction of this year's Helping Hands prints - actual player handprints done on limited edition cards, then autographed and framed - raised $7,125 for CMN at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Funds raised through Children's Miracle Network are earmarked at CHOP for patient care programs. These programs provide constant support for the kinds of services that truly make a difference in the lives of children and families. Support groups, creative arts therapies and social workers are all part of the healing process. These services are offered to every child who visits Children's Hospital, and these are among the many programs that CMN funds help make possible.
CHUCK YOUR PUCKS
Phantoms Charities returns with its Chuck O' Puck promotion on Friday, Jan. 19 in the second intermission. The Phantoms Wives are sponsoring the event, which will happen at every Friday game over the rest of the season. The puck closest to the target will win half of the monies raised up to a maximum of $500! The remaining proceeds go to Phantoms Charities, a division of the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation.

PHANTOMS NOTABLES
When Lowell's David Clarkson scored four goals on Friday, he became both the second player this season and the second player ever to score four goals in a game against the Phantoms. When Brandon Bochenski did it for Norfolk on Nov. 25, it was the first time the Phantoms had ever allowed four goals in a game to the same player... In Friday's game at Lowell, the eight minutes of penalties assessed to Philadelphia and the 16 minutes of penalties combined between the two teams were both season lows for the Phantoms... Beginning with this Sunday's game against Norfolk, the Phantoms play a total of 19 of their final 38 games (50 percent) against Norfolk, Hershey and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton - the league's top three teams heading into this week - over the last 12 weeks of the season.
