Wednesday, January 17th vs. Manchester Monarchs 7:05 p.m.
On Wednesday, Barber Foods will be at the game handing out samples of their delicious products during the game in the main lobby. Plus, Napa Chuck-A-Puck stands at $1,000. Pucks will be available on Saturday behind sections K and Q. For tickets, call the Cumberland County Civic Center box office at (207) 775-3458. Friday, January 19th vs. Hartford Wolf Pack 7:05 p.m.
Friday is State Farm Good Neighbor Night! Fans will receive can coolers from State Farm as they enter the game. Friday is also Amato's Future Stars Friday! During the 2006-07 season the Pirates are proud to offer all MSHA, Middle School and High School hockey players a chance to catch all Pirates Friday home games - free of charge! All you need to do is present your Amato's Future Stars ID card at the ticket window the day of the game or in advance and you will receive one (1) FREE reserved seat. In addition, it will be Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram Family Night with the Portland Pirates! Bring the whole family to Friday's game for just $25! Check out the Maine Sunday Telegram/Portland Press Herald every Sunday and Thursday before the Friday Family Night game for your Family Night coupon. Before the game, stop by the Penalty Box Grill at 6:00 as one of the Pirates coaching staff conducts the second Chalk Talk of the season.
Saturday, January 20th vs. Providence Bruins 7:05 p.m.
On Saturday, doors will open at 3:00 PM for a motorsports expo complete with cars, local drivers, motorsports vendors, great prizes and a sports memorabilia auction brought to you by Grandstand Sports. At the game fans will have the chance to take a photo with the AAA Show car and test their racing skills in the AAA Race Car Simulator - the fastest driver of the night will receive a prize from AAA/NNE.
During the first intermission, two lucky fans will be chosen to compete in an on-ice Kart race sponsored by Maine Indoor Karting. The winner will receive an Endurance race at Maine Indoor Karting for a group of his/her friends. One lucky fan will also win two suite tickets to the Subway Fresh 500 on April 21 in Phoenix courtesy of Subway Restaurants. This prize will include a pair of round trip tickets from Boston to Phoenix courtesy of jetBlue.
In celebration of Hockey Night in Portland, bring your Pirates ticket stub into Gritty's between 4 and 6:30 p.m. and Gritty's will take 10% off your tab.

SUBWAY "Pirate for a Day" Contest
The Pirates are now accepting entries for the "Pirate for a Day" Contest. Fans have the chance to record a :15 video entry as to why they deserve to be a Pirate for a day. The person with the best entry will win a hockey salary for a day, accommodations at Holiday Inn By the Bay the night before the game, dinner the night before the game, a pre-game meal at SUBWAY® restaurants, a customized authentic Pirates jersey, an autographed hockey stick, seat next to back-up goalie in tunnel during the game, be a guest radio commentator with the "Voice of the Pirates" Greg Glynn, player meet-and-greet and locker room tour and much, much more. 2007 Fix Cup Tournament
On Monday, January 22nd the Cumberland County Civic Center will host the inaugural "Fix Cup" Hockey Tournament. Similar to the Beanpot held in Boston, the tournament will involve four local teams competing on back to back Mondays to crown a champion.
The full Fix Cup schedule is listed below. Adult tickets are $7 and Student tickets are $4 and all proceeds will benefit the Frank Fixaris Memorial Endowment at Saint Joseph's College of Maine. Monday, January 22, 2007

The tournament is made possible by Ricetta's Brick Oven Pizzeria, BBI Waste, Cumberland County Civic Center, Creative Imaging and Creative Awards. Friday, January 26th vs. Providence Bruins 7:05 p.m.
On this night, twenty-four 9th and 10th grade students from Casco Bay High School will present the "coolest" game of the season. This opportunity is part of the Junior Achievement of Maine's "Company Program". Last season, the Pirates, Casco Bay High School and Junior Achievement joined forces to present a Pirates game that raised $5,000 for Casco Bay High School's (formerly Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound High School) library and technology needs which helped to provide students with lap tops this year. This year, the Junior Achievement's Company Program will continue to serve as the model around which the Pirates and the students from Casco Bay High School will generate to gain an understanding about running a business. As part of the game, there will be a pre-game skate starting at 3:00 p.m., a Pirates costume contest and much, much more!

Eye on the Pirates
Every Thursday during the 6 o'clock news on WCSH 6, sports anchor Lee Goldberg focuses on the Pirates top stories and headlines and previews the upcoming weekend. Konopka on WJBQ and WBLM with special guests!
This Thursday, Zenon Konopka and special guests from the Casco Bay High School will be on WJBQ 97.9 FM at 8:10 a.m. with Meredith, Jeff and Lori. Then at 8:30 a.m., Konopka and his guests will be in studio with Herb and Celeste to talk about the Casco Bay High School and the game the students will present on January 26th. Pirates at Shaw's Supermarkets!
On Tuesday, January 23rd, two Pirates players will be at the Shaw's Supermarket in Portland at 21 Auburn St. in the Northgate Plaza. The Pirates players will be signing autographs and giving fans a chance to enter to win Pirates tickets and other prizes.
