Wolves Send Wedderburn to Rockford

The Chicago Wolves have assigned defenseman TIM WEDDERBURN to the Rockford IceHogs of the United Hockey League.

The 25-year-old blueliner did not appear in Chicago's season opener against Peoria last Saturday.

The Okotoks, Alberta, native, registered six assists and 57 penalty minutes, and shared third on the team with a +15 plus/minus rating in 73 games with the Wolves last season. Overall, he has accrued 16 assists and 117 penalty minutes in 138 regular-season tilts with Chicago during the past two seasons.

The Wolves battle the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center tonight at 7 p.m., before opening their 40-game home slate against the Admirals at the Allstate Arena on Sat., Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. For more information, call 1-800-THE-WOLVES or log on to chicagowolves.com.
