Bears finishing off four-game road trip this weekend

Three road games in three nights begins Friday in Hamilton, Ontario, where the BEARS look to win the club's second straight game to begin 2006-07.

HERSHEY began the new season six days ago in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and defeated the Penguins 7-4 at Wachovia Arena. Joey Tenute, a Hamilton, Ontario native, scored two goals and was named the game's number one star. The scene shifts tonight to Copps Coliseum in HERSHEY'S only visit to Hamilton this season. Frederic Cassivi is expected to get the start in goal for the BEARS.

The three games in three nights trip continues Saturday night in Syracuse before concluding Sunday in Toronto against the Marlies. HERSHEY'S home opener is Saturday, October 21 when the BEARS hoist their ninth Calder Cup championship banner to the GIANT Center rafters. Face-off with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on the 21st is at 7:00 p.m.

Tonight's game will be carried live via the BEARS Radio Network, beginning with the pre-game show at 7:10 p.m. WQIC-FM (100.1), WLPA-AM (1490) and WHYL-AM (960) all will have tonight's game in central Pennsylvania.
