Troy McClain to apprentice as Steelheads PA announcer
March 11, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release
Boise, Idaho - He's proven he's good enough for the show, but will he be good enough for our show...we'll let Steelheads fans decide.
Troy McClain will try his hand as the public address announcer during the Saturday, March 13th Steelheads game versus Long Beach. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. to end Idaho's longest homestand of the season.
Steelheads full-time public address announcer Edward Moore said, "Boy I hate giving up my regular gig, but Troy's proven he has many talents. I just hope after his performance I'm not sent from the announcer's booth down to the street."
Game tickets for home games are available at the Bank of America Centre, by visiting any Select-A-Seat outlet, by calling 331-TIXS (8497), or by logging on to www.idahotickets.com or www.idahosteelheads.com. With every ticket purchased, fans will receive $1.00 off any 12-pack Pepsi product purchased at Jacksons throughout the season by redeeming any game ticket stub at a participating Jacksons store. Tickets prices start as low as $10 for adults, and $7.00 for youths/seniors.
