Milam Reassigned from Manchester

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Troy Milam has been reassigned from the American Hockey League's Manchester Monarchs.

Milam returns to Gwinnett following his second stint with the Monarchs this season. In seven games with the Monarchs, the rookie defenseman tallied a shorthanded goal and had a plus-minus rating of +2.

The rookie out of Ferris State University attended the Cleveland Barrons Training camp before joining the Gladiators in September. In 54 games with Gladiators, Milam has tallied 6 goals and 26 assists for 32 points including two power play goals.

Milam, as well as goaltender Michael Garnett, represented the Gladiators at the 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All Star game in Peoria, Illinois on January 21st. Milam tallied a goal and an assist for the Western Conference Stars in the contest.

Milam should be available for the Gladiators 7:35 p.m. contest tomorrow night against the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

The Gladiators are back in action on Friday as they host the Pensacola Ice Pilots in a 7:035 p.m. tilt. It's St. Patrick's Day Poster night.
