
Trio of Rattlers Named to All-Star Squad

Appleton, WI: The Midwest League and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers announce three Timber Rattlers have been selected to represent the Western Division in the Midwest League All-Star game. The All-Stars were selected by the Midwest League field managers.
Right-handed pitcher Phillippe Aumont will make the trip to Midland, Michigan for the Midwest League All-Star Game on Tuesday, June 17th. The Canadian is 3-3 in 10 games with a 1.50 ERA and 35 strikeouts. The Seattle Mariners selected Aumont in the first round in the 2007 June draft.
Rattler infielders Edilio Colina & Juan Diaz have been named as reserve players. Colina (Quibor, Lara, Venezuela) is hitting .302 and leads the team in doubles (14) and RBI (21) in 159 at bats. Diaz (Bani, Dominican Republic) is hitting .244 thru 47 games and is second on the team in RBI with 20.
