GRAND CHUTE, WI - Early on Tuesday, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Phillppe Aumont, Edilio Colina, and Juan Diaz were named to the Western Division squad for the Midwest League All-Star Game. Tuesday evening, that trio made big contributions to Wisconsin's 4-2 win over the Peoria Chiefs on Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Aumont pitched seven innings and allowed one run for the win. Colina snapped a 1-1 tie with a two-run single in the seventh. Diaz scored a run and had three hits.

Wisconsin (24-30) scored an unearned run in the bottom of the second inning for a 1-0 lead. Joe Dunigan scored from third base on a wild pitch by Peoria starting pitcher Robert Hernandez with two outs.

Aumont protected that 1-0 until the top of the sixth inning. He uncorked a wild pitch of his own with two outs and Brandon Guyer scored from third to tie the game.

The Rattlers got the lead back in the bottom of the frame. Colina delivered a single to drive in Blake Ochoa from third and Diaz from second. Later in the inning, Ron Garth plated Colina with a single to left and Colina scored for a 4-1 Wisconsin advantage.

Aumont departed after tossing a scoreless seventh inning, in which he struck out the final two batters he faced. Those last two strikeouts gave Aumont six K's in the game.

Peoria scored a run against Rattler reliever Ryan Moorer in the top of the eighth inning. Nate Samson tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Guyer.

Keith Meyer struck out a pair of Chief batters as he retired the side in order in the top of the ninth to get his third save of the season.

The final game of the four game series is Wednesday afternoon. Donnie Hume (4-1, 2.33) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Timber Rattlers. Chris Siegfried (1-3, 5.40) is set to start for the Chiefs. Game time is 12:05pm.
