STORM NOTES
- The Last Leg! Just 7 games remain in the 2004-05 season, and Toledo is right in the thick of the playoff picture (currently in the fourth and final playoff spot). Toledo has collected 13 of the last 16 possible points; 6-1-1 in the last 8 games. During this run, the Storm has averaged 3.875 goals per game. See a Playoff race Schedule Breakdown at the end of this release.
- High Water Mark! Saturday's win in Dayton propelled Toledo to a season high 14 games above .500.
- Bergin Time! Since arriving in Toledo on March 8th, Kevin Bergin has averaged just over a point per game. In fact, Kevin has had at least 1 point in all but one game he has played with the Storm.
- Going Shorthanded! Toledo's first goal Saturday night in Dayton was a shorthanded tally from P.J. Martin. It was the 12th shorthanded goal scored this season by the Storm. Toledo is tied with 2 other teams for the third most shorthanded goals in the ECHL. That was the first shorthanded goal of the season for Martin. Toledo's Nick Parillo has scored 5 of Toledo's 12.
- PIMS! Storm forward Mike James, acquired from Johnstown on March 15th, has collected at least 1 minor penalty in all 5 games he has played with Toledo. Overall, Mike has penalty minutes in 9 straight games, which is the longest current streak in the ECHL.
- Winning Hockey! Goaltender Scott Fankhouser collected his 26th win of the season Saturday night. That ties him with Peoria's Alfie Michaud for the fourth most wins in the ECHL.
