Ice Pilots go 3-1-0 this past week and win South Division Title and end up with best record in American Conference. The Ice Pilots went 3-1-0 this past week and clinched the South Division title and will end up with the best record in the American Conference. The Ice Pilots have a record of 46-15-5 for 97 points and the magic number of points to win the Brabham Cup is at 6 and possibly 5 points depending on the number of wins Alaska could end up with.
The Ice Pilots started the week with a 3-1 win vs. Victoria at home. Jason Beckett, Jordan Krestanovich and Alex Materuhkin scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. Frederic Cloutier was the winning goalie.
The Ice Pilots won on Friday night at Augusta 8-1. Dominc D'Amour scored 2 goals and 2 assists and was a ! +6. Mark Rooneem, Jordan Krestanovich, Ryan Vince, Chris St. Jacques, Cory Stillman and Ryan O'Keefe scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Todd Ford was the winning goalie. The Ice Pilots outshot August 31-30 in the game.
The Ice Pilots won at home on Saturday night vs. Augusta 7-2 and the Ice Pilots clinched the South Division title with the victory and guaranteed the Ice Pilots with the best record in the American Conference. Cory Stillman and Aaron Phillips each scored 2 goals for the Ice Pilots. Aaron Gionet, Ryan Vince and Alex Materuhkin also scored goals for the Ice Pilots. The Ice Pilots went 4-8 on the power play. Frederic Cloutier was the winning goalie.
The Ice Pilots lost 5-4 at Texas on Easter Sunday. Ryan Vince scored two goals in the game for the Ice Pilots. Jordan Krestanovich and Aaron Phillips also scored goals. Mark Giannetti scored the game winning goal for Texas with 46 seconds left in the game. The Ice Pilots had 55 shots on goal and Texas had 37. Frede! ric Cloutier ended up the losing goalie for the Ice Pilots and Jason W olfe was the winning goalie for Texas.
The Ice Pilots have a record of 46-15-5 for 97 points. The 46 wins and 97 points are the most ever by an Ice Pilots team during the regular season. The Ice Pilots have clinched the south division title and will end up with the most points in the American Conference.

Fundraisers Planned for games on April 2 and April 9 along with Post Game Jersey Auction on April 9th. The Ice Pilots are having fundraisers for the home games on April 2 and April 9th. The Pensacola Chamber LEAP organization is selling $15 and $13 tickets for the Ice Pilots home game vs. Mississippi on April 2 at 7:05 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to help restore four parks damaged by Hurricane Ivan. Covenant Hospice is also selling $10 tickets for the April 2 home game vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. Fans can call Judi Capello at 202-5930. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for this game will! go to help support Covenant Hospice.
Sam's Club is also selling $13 and $15 tickets for the Ice Pilots home game on April 9th vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for this night will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network. Fans can contact Gary Schonour at Sam's Club at 484-7508.
The Ice Pilots will be holding a Jersey Auction on the Ice Pilots home and away game worn jerseys after the game on Saturday, April 9th vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. Fans who win the jerseys will be able to receive the jerseys once the Kelly Cup Playoffs are over.
The Ice Pilots Season Ticket Holder Year End Get-Together and Playoff Rally will be at the Civic Center on Sunday, April 10th from 1p.m. 3 p.m. If you are a current season ticket holder, come on out and enjoy a barbecued lunch, free ice skating, locker room tours and fun for all. Leading Scorers: Tyler Beechey leads the Ice Pilots in scoring with 66 points and is the fourth leading scorer in the league. Beechey also leads the team with 27 goals. Beechey has been recalled to St. John's of the AHL. Aaron Phillips leads the team with 45 assists which is the fifth best in the league. Phillips also leads the team with a plus 32 plus/minus rating which is the second best in the league. Corey Neilson is the leading scoring defenseman in the league with 56 points. Nielson also is fourth in the league among defenseman with 12 goals and is first among all defenseman with 44 assists. Todd Ford has the 8th best goals against average in the league at 2.23. Frederic Cloutier is second in the league among goalies with 29 wins and is second in the league with 1,309 saves. Cloutier is 12th in the league with a 2.32 goals against average. Scott May is second in the league with a .203 shooting percentage.
Tentative Pract! ice Schedule this week; The Ice Pilots will practice Monday at 1 p.m. and will have a pre skate on Tuesday at the Civic Center at 10 a.m. The Ice Pilots will play home to Louisiana on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will practice on Wednesday Morning tentatively at 10 a.m. and also on Thursday at 10 a.m. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Friday at 10 a.m. and play home to Texas at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will have a pre skate on Saturday at 10 a.m. and play home to Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will play at Texas on Sunday at 5:05 p.m.
Ice Pilots Announce Ticket Packages for Kelly Cup Playoffs and 2005-06 Regular Season: The 14 home game Kelly Cup Playoff ticket invoices have been mailed out. Current Season Ticket holders who purchase the playoff package will have the option to apply any unused balance of the playoff tickets to next year's season tickets or have their balance refunded if any of the 14 home playoff games are not played. Playoff p! ayments are due in full by March 31, 2005. Fans will be able to pick u p their Kelly Cup Playoff tickets beginning Tuesday, April 5th at the Ice Pilots office during regular business hours. Fans will also be able to pick up their Kelly Cup Playoff Tickets at the Ice Pilots last regular season home game on Saturday, April 9th at the customer service table behind section 107. No tickets will be mailed out.
The renewal process for the 2005-2006 season tickets has begun. There is a dollar increase per ticket for all ticket types in all price levels for 2005-06. Early Bird Special: Season ticket holders can put down a $50 deposit per ticket thru March 31, 2005 with the full balance for 2005-06 season tickets due in full by September 1, 2005. There is a monthly payment plan option of 12 payments, beginning May 1, 2005 and ending April 1, 2006.
Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Ryan Vince has been nominated for the ECHL Player of the Week. Vince scored 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points in 4 games this past week and was a +5. Goalie Frederic Clout! ier has been nominated for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Cloutier posted a record of 2-1 this past week. Vince has been named the Dodge Player of the Week.
Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award this season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Fans will have an update on the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed top scorer in the weekly release and at www.icepilots.com. Tyler Beechey is the top scorer on the Ice Pilots with 66 points. Jordan Krestanovich and Aaron Phillips are tied for second with 59 points and Corey Neilson is third with 56 points.
GEICO Three Stars of the Game: GEICO will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots Three Stars of the Game once again on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network this season and at every home game. Assigned Players from Toronto Maple Leafs: The Ice Pilots currently have nine players on the roster assigned from Toronto. They are center Scott May, goalie Todd Ford, defenseman Dave Turon, defenseman Dominic D'Amour, center Chris St. Jacques, center Kris Newbury, center Cory Stillman, left wing Robb Palahnuk left wing Cam Keith and defenseman Tyson Marsh. Kerr's Kids: For the second season in a row the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite organizations devoted to helping children who are terminally ill or have special limitations to be our guest during the 2004-05 regular season for a great night of hockey. Each organization is encouraged to pick 3-4 dates throughout the regular seaso! n. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission for 12 people (We would like to have at least 6 or more children, escorts are required for the children and are counted as part of the 12). SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. If accessible seating is needed the Ice Pilots must be notified at least 2 days in advance and seating will be arranged. All members must stay in assigned seats. Please provide a list of attendee's 24 hours prior to game day. Ice Pilots Offer Pay-Per-View Webcasts with B2 Networks this season. The Ice Pilots home games and several road games will be available for viewing on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots have partnered with B2 Networks based in Las Vegas, Nevada on the pay-per-view broadcast.
Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game. At this time a total of 58 of the Ice Pilots 72 regular season games will be available for viewing at www.icepilots.com. All four games this week will be available through a pay per view webcast.
