Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas, NV - If you're a sports couch potato, then the Wranglers have just the thing to induce you out to the Orleans Arena - authentic MR. POTATO HEAD SPORTS SPUDS dressed in Wranglers duds, complete with skates and a stick.
The first 2,500 fans of the day (over the age of 3) to attend Saturday's game on April 2nd, will receive the collectible and playable Wranglers MR. POTATO HEAD SPORTS SPUD, this includes the first 200 fans to Saturday's Port-of Subs pre-game party. The five-inch molded plastic spud wears a team jersey and has skates, fun faces, hairstyles, and applicable hockey paraphernalia-- gloves, hockey sticks, helmets, and caps.
Promotional Partners Worldwide (PPW), a company in Glendale CA, has worked with Hasbro Properties Group to create a series of exclusive figures based on Hasbro's iconic MR. POTATO HEAD. The Las Vegas Wranglers are among the first to introduce the customized toy favorite designed to appeal specifically to Las Vegas fans.
"MR. POTATO HEAD is a true evergreen character with appeal to men and women and boys and girls," said Cheryl Brancaccio, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Promotional Partners Worldwide. "MR. POTATO HEAD is loved by all generations from young children to 50-somethings who once had them in their toy boxes. We created this line of customizable sports premiums as a way to help teams capitalize on America's love of nostalgia."
Indeed, that is precisely one of the reasons that Wranglers elected to introduce the Wranglers version of MR. POTATO HEAD SPORTS SPUDS to its fans.
The Wranglers return home from the road on Tuesday, March 29th to host the Fresno Falcons at 7:05 pm. The game starts a six-game home-stand to end the regular season. Victoria will play at the Orleans Arena on Friday, April 1st and Bakersfield stops in on Saturday, April 2nd. Friday night, the first 1,500 fans get a Wranglers Travel Mug sponsored by Trendwest and the Wranglers will reveal their new jerseys for next season, which will be auctioned off during the game in a silent auction. Saturday April 2nd, fans may attend the Port of Subs Pre-Game party in the parking lot of the Orleans Arena from 4:00â6:00 pm. The Wranglers conclude their season with three home games against Alaska on April 5th, 8th, and 9th.
