Thursday Night's Game Postponed Again by Rain, Homestand Continues this Weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Thursday night's game at Parkview Field between the TinCaps and the Lake County Captains (Guardians affiliate) has been postponed by rain.
Fans who had tickets to Thursday's game may redeem them for a future game at Parkview Field during the 2024 season. Click here for the team's schedule. Tickets must be exchanged at the Parkview Field Ticket Office for seats of equal or lesser value, with the ability to upgrade, based on availability. There are no full or partial refunds. Looking ahead, the series between the teams will resume Friday (7:05pm). Wednesday's rainout is being made up Saturday with a doubleheader beginning at 1:05pm. The series is set to conclude Sunday with another 1:05pm game.
MLB regulations don't allow for doubleheaders on consecutive days, or on travel days (Sunday is considered a travel day for Lake County). With that being the case, Thursday's game will be made up with a doubleheader when the TinCaps visit the Captains in Northeast Ohio next month, since Lake County doesn't return to Fort Wayne until the second half of the season. (Minor League Baseball's standings are split between the first half and second half.)
As a reminder, tickets Saturday will be good for both games of that doubleheader. The games will be scheduled for seven innings (rather than nine) with a 30-minute intermission between.
