Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (11-16-3-1) head into game four of their five-game series with the Stockton Thunder (16-10-0-4), tonight, at Stockton Arena. This is the seventh of 15 meetings between these clubs this season. Both squads are tied at seven points apiece in the season series.

Last weekend the two California rivals played the first three games of this series. Stockton came away with four points to San Francisco's three. The Bulls started the weekend with big comeback victory, 5-2. In game two they played a hectic high-scoring affair, which the Thunder won, 7-6, in overtime. Finally, on Sunday, a four goal first period gave Stockton a 5-1 win. Adrian Foster, Tyler Gron, and Dean Ouellet had particularly productive weekends. Foster racked up eight points (2g, 6a) in the three games. Gron (3g, 2a) and Ouellet (1g, 4a) each contributed five.

Heading into the weekend San Francisco will be without one of their hot hands in Foster. On Monday it was announced that he had been loaned to the Abbotsford Heat of the AHL. He is the fifth player in Bulls history to earn an AHL call-up, and the first this season. He joins Ouellet, Sacha Guimond, Kris Belan, and Peter Sivak. In 15 games since signing with San Francisco, he has compiled 17 points (5g, 12a). He was tied for third on the team in assists, and led the ECHL with eight points last week.

In addition, the Bulls also announced the signing of defenseman Eriks Sevcenko. Sevcenko, 22, joins his first North American team. He has spent the last five years playing in Latvia, Russia, Belarus, and Norway. In 250 games in Europe he produced 65 points (9g, 56a).

The Thunder are led by captain Garet Hunt. The physical forward is in his sixth season with Stockton, and is having his most productive year. He leads the team in goals (11) and penalty minutes (79). In addition, he is fourth on the club in points (21).

San Francisco is in sixth place in the Western Conference with 26 points. They are one point in front of the Bakersfield Condors and Utah Grizzlies. Stockton is tied with the Idaho Steelheads for fourth place in the Western Conference with 36 points. They are one point behind the Alaska Aces.

Tomorrow the Bulls complete their five-game set with the Thunder, back home at the Cow Palace. San Francisco will be celebrating their second annual Country Western Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive a foam cowboy hat, courtesy of Recology. The game begins at 7:30 pm.
