The Solar Bears and Grizzlies come together for the second straight night as Orlando looks for redemption on home ice. The Solar Bears notched the first goal of the game on a deflection from F Tyler Murovich at 12:50 of the first period and held the lead going into the second frame. Midway through the middle period, Utah tied the contest up at 1-1 when F David Vallorani was able to slide a puck inside the left goal post with F Michael Pelech screening G Christopher Gibson. The Grizzlies grabbed the lead in the third period with a power play goal, but the Solar Bears came right back to tie the game at 2-2 on a slap shot from F Mickey Lang 40 seconds later. The teams went tied 2-2 into overtime but a late power play awarded to the Grizzlies set up the game winning goal when F Phil Mangan fired a slap shot from the high slot through traffic to lift Utah to the victory. Yesterday's game was the first time that the Solar Bears have faced the Grizzlies.
