LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles (18-8-3-2) conquered the Bakersfield Condors (12-16-0-1), 3-2, at the Budweiser Events Center on Friday night. Eagles forward Kevin Ulanski tallied two goals on the night and forward Trent Daavettila continued his 12-game point streak with two assists, helping to finalize the 3-2 victory over the Condors. Condors netminder Laurent Brossoit entered the night having posted five shutouts in his first eight games with Bakersfield. With only 8.3 seconds left in the first frame Bakersfield forward Joel Broda tied the score 1-1 with the Condors first power-play goal of the game.

The second period didn't see a any scoring but seven minutes into the third Eagles forward Kyle Ostrow drilled home a pass from forward Trent Daavettila to give the Eagles the 2-1 lead. Just one minute later Ulanski netted his second goal of the night from the high slot to pump the Eagles lead to 3-1. Bakersfield forward Ryan Watson retaliated with just 1:47 left in the final stanza with a shot from the circle past Eagles goalie Adam Brown to close the scoring gap 3-2. Brown and the Eagles were able to hold off 27 of the Condors 29 shots-on-goal to secure the 3-2 win in front of a sold-out crowd at the Budweiser Events Center.
