STORM NOTES

- The Playoffs are Close! Toledo is just one point from clinching a playoff spot. It would mean that the Storm would be in the Kelly Cup Playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1998-99. However, the Storm can clinch a playoff spot should Dayton fall in Fresno Tuesday night.

- Shots, Shots, and Goals! Toledo registered 51 shots in both Wednesday's and Friday's games. At that point, Toledo had 51 in 3 straight games going back to Sunday February 26th. On Friday night the Storm collected 8 goals, which is a season high. The last time a Storm team registered more than 7 goals in a game was on November 22, 2003, when Toledo defeated Wheeling 9-3.

- Power Play! For the season Toledo ranks 12th at 18.4% (68 goals in 369 chances).

- Penalty Kill! Overall Toledo has stopped 271 of 324 power play chances against (83.6%).

STORM WATCH

- Storm Coach's Show! The Toledo Storm Coach's Show returns to the airways Tuesday night. Storm forward Robert Snowball will join Head Coach Nick Vitucci and Matt Melzak this week at the Maumee Bay Brewing Company. The show can be heard live on Dominion 1520 JAMZ.

- The Week Ahead! Toledo starts the week with the Reading Royals on Wednesday night. Toledo is 7-1-1 against the Royals this season. The same teams will meet again on Friday in Reading. Chris Blight has 5 goals and 6 assists in 8 games against the Royals this season. Drew MacIntyre is 4-0-0 against Reading. On Saturday and Sunday, the Storm will be in Trenton to take on the Titans. On the strength of two wins over the Titans last week, Toledo is 4-2-0 against Trenton this season. Bracken Kearns has scored 5 goals and added 6 assists in just 6 games against the Titans this season.
