Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a 3-1-0 record for the week starting with a 6-4 victory at Fresno on Tuesday night. Friday night, Las Vegas beat San Diego 6-2 at the IPayOne Center. Saturday night, the Wranglers were shutout by the Gulls 1-0 in San Diego and Las Vegas rounded out the week with a 4-3 overtime victory in Fresno on Sunday.

The Wranglers continue their season-long, nine-game road trip with three games in Victoria on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The Wranglers stop in Phoenix before returning home on March 17th to host the Alaska Aces for a three-game series. Friday March 17th, the Wranglers will wear specialty jerseys for St. Patrick's Day. The jerseys, sponsored by McMullan's Irish Pub, the official Irish Pub of the Las Vegas Wranglers, will be available for purchase through a silent auction on the concourse during the game.

Fresno, CA - The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the Fresno Falcons 6-4 at the Save Mart Center on Tuesday night. Center Matt Dzieduszycki scored twice and assisted on another as Las Vegas improved to 5-0-0 against Fresno this season. Left wing Dan Tudin scored once and assisted on two others as the Wranglers scored five goals in the third period. Goalie Marc Magliarditi picked up his league leading 27th win of the season with 25 saves. Defenseman Tyler Sloan scored the game-winning goal and forwards Darren Lynch and Sean O'Connor each added tallies in the victory .

Las Vegas 6 at San Diego 2

San Diego, CA - The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the San Diego Gulls 6-2 at the IPayOne Center on Friday night. Right wing Steve Crampton scored twice as the Wranglers won their fourth straight game. Defenseman Christian Chartier scored twice as well, with forwards Marco Peluso and Sean O'Connor also adding tallies as the Wranglers picked up their 40th win of the season. Left wing Dan Tudin dished out two assists helping the Wranglers improve to 18-7-3 on the road this season. Goalie Marc Magliarditi made 19 saves in his 15th straight start and improved his record to 28-8-5.

Saturday, March 4th

Las Vegas 0 at San Diego 1

San Diego, CA - The Las Vegas Wranglers were defeated by the San Diego Gulls 1-0 at the IPayOne Center on Saturday night. San Diego goalie Tyler Weiman made 29 saves, as the Gulls ended a five-game losing streak to the Wranglers. Gulls forward Mark Wires scored the only goal of the game in the first period. Wranglers' goalie Marc Magliarditi took the loss despite stopping 19 of 20 San Diego shots.

Sunday, March 5th

Las Vegas 4 at Fresno 3 OT

Fresno, CA - The Las Vegas Wranglers edged the Fresno Falcons 4-3 in overtime at the Save Mart Center on Sunday night. Center Chris Stanley scored the game-winning goal 1:26 into overtime, ending a personal 10-game goalless drought. Center Chris Neiszner tied the game with 45 seconds remaining in the game to force overtime. Las Vegas forwards Matt Dzieduszycki and Shawn Limpright each scored as the Wranglers swept the season series with Fresno (6-0-0). Goalie Marc Magliarditi won his 29th game of the season, playing in his 17th consecutive game.

This Week's Opponent-

Victoria Salmon Kings- (19-31-7, 45 Points) - Las Vegas is 1-0-1 this year versus Victoria. The Salmon Kings are led by defenseman Steve Lingren, fourth in the ECHL among defensemen in scoring. Lingren is enjoying his best professional season offensively with 20 goals and 22 assists for 42 points in 56 games played for the Kings this season. Lingren's 20 goals this season lead all ECHL defensemen, 13 of the defenseman's goals have come via the power play. Steve Lingren is also tied for the lead among defensemen in game-winning goals with four on the season, including the game-winning goal against the Wranglers at the Orleans Arena on February 21st. ECHL all-star Adam Taylor, a rookie winger, is tied for tenth in scoring among all rookies. Taylor, a center, has 14 goals and 32 assists for 46 points, which ties him with Lanny Gare as the team's leading scorer.
