Idaho Steelheads News Release
BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads were pretty in pink as they swept Phoenix all three games at Qwest Arena last week, completing a season sweep of the RoadRunners (7-0-0) and outscoring their southern foes by a 34-10 margin. The rambunctious, sellout crowd of 5,048 Saturday night also helped the Pink in the Rink jersey auction set a record, raising $21,791 for breast cancer care and treatment at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center's Mountain States Tumor Institute.
Idaho, which has moved a point past Utah to claim third place in the West Division, leaves Thursday for Alaska to play three games against the league-leading Aces - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Steelheads return home to Qwest Arena on Tuesday, March 14th to take on Stockton.
