LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 2-1-1 OVERALL RECORD: 32-11-11, 75 pts., 1st Place Pacific Division

Feb. 27 @ Bakersfield, 4-1 Win - Jamie Holden made 53 saves, and the Falcons struck twice on the power play while killing off all eight Condors power plays en route to the team's first win at Bakersfield this season.

Feb. 28 vs. Las Vegas, 6-4 Loss - Fresno led 2-1 after two periods, but after scoring a game-tying power play goal early in the third, Las Vegas added two more tallies just 31 seconds apart in the middle of the frame to effectively put the game out of reach.

March 3 vs. Dayton, 3-1 Win - Jamie Holden made 37 saves and J.F. Plourde registered a natural hat trick to lead the Falcons to victory in their first-ever game against the Bombers.

March 5 vs. Las Vegas, 4-3 Overtime Loss - After overcoming a 2-0 second period deficit with a pair of goals 22 seconds apart, Fresno then took the lead eight minutes into the third. But the Wranglers rallied with a goal in the final minute of regulation before capitalizing on a turnover in overtime. The Falcons finished the season series against Las Vegas winless in six tries (0-4-2).

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Tuesday, March 7 vs. Dayton Bombers, 7 p.m.* - The Bombers return as they continue their West Coast swing. The game is a Carl's Jr. Two-for-Tuesday, with two-for-one coupons available at participating Carl's Jr. restaurants.

Friday, March 10 vs. San Diego Gulls, 7 p.m.* - Fresno puts its unbeaten streak against the Pacific Division on the line. The first 2,500 fans will receive Falcons trading card sets courtesy of Heald College, KSEE 24, and 95.7 The Fox.

Saturday, March 11 vs. Phoenix RoadRunners, 7 p.m.* - Falcons fans get their first glimpse of the RoadRunners, which make their inaugural trip to Save Mart Center. The Raiderettes will perform between periods compliments of Fox Sports 1340 and CBS 47.

Sunday, March 12 @ San Diego Gulls, 5 p.m.* - Fresno hits the road after completing a six-game home stand.

NOTES

. Plourde's hat trick against the Bombers tied him with Shawn Mather for the team goal-scoring lead with 24 and helped him overtake Mather for the team power play goal lead with 12.

. Last week's win against the Condors keeps the Falcons unbeaten against the Pacific Division with a record of 17-0-4 this year.

. Luke Curtin carries a team season-high nine-game point streak (3g-12a) into this week. Fresno's leading scorer has registered at least one point in every game since Feb. 11 and is currently tied for fifth in the ECHL with 70 points (19g-51a).

. After beginning last week with just a four-point lead, the Pacific Division-leading Falcons picked-up five points in the standings over the second-place Long Beach Ice Dogs last week. Fresno captured five out of a possible six points in getting back three of their four games in hand. The Falcons begin this week with a nine-point lead atop the division with still one game in hand.
