Stingrays Host over 400 Holdover Troops from Fort Jackson Tomorrow

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 22 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry, will host over 400 Holiday holdover troops from Fort Jackson on Sunday, December 28 during USO Fort Jackson Holiday Holdover Troops Day at 3:05 p.m. as the Stingrays battle the Wheeling Nailers at the North Charleston Coliseum.

The troops will participate in special on-ice and off-ice activities before, during and after the game with special thanks to the USO South Carolina and local businesses.

After the Christmas Holiday Break (December 21-26) the Stingrays host the Wheeling Nailers and the North Charleston Coliseum on Saturday, December 27 at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday, December 28 at 3:05 p.m.

The first 1,000 fans into the Coliseum on Saturday receive a free Stingrays jersey from Trident Health! The Stingrays celebrate Kids Day and Crews Subaru Family Day and USO Holdover Troops Day on Sunday. All kids tickets are $5 and all kids meals on the concourse are $5! Celebrate the Holidays and say "thank you" as over 400 holdover troops from Fort Jackson will be in attendance to take in the action and participate in fun on-ice activities.
