ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspension.

Stockton's Shattock fined, suspended

Stockton's Tyler Shattock has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #286, Stockton at Bakersfield, on Dec. 26.

Shattock is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of an unpenalized slew foot in the second period of the game.

Shattock will miss Stockton's game at Bakersfield tonight (Dec. 27).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Cincinnati's McFadden fined

Cincinnati's Josh McFadden has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #281, Cincinnati at Indy, on Dec. 26.

McFadden is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline for his actions at the conclusion of the game.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Colorado's Zahn fined

Colorado's Teigan Zahn has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #284, Utah at Colorado, on Dec. 26.

Zahn was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing under Rule #62.5 at 20:00 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
