Las Vegas - In a game with a 40-shot difference between teams, the Wranglers lost 3-2 in a shootout tonight to the Idaho Steelheads on home ice.

The night started off in Idaho's favor as forward Patrick Kennedy collected his first goal of the season in just his second game. At 2:21 in the first period, the Steelheads went up 1-0 with forward Michael Neal on the assist. With Weston's goal assisted by forward Scott Campbell and center Ash Goldie, the Wranglers ended the period down 2-1.
