Forward Devos Recalled by Norfolk

ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades announced Saturday that forward Philip-Michael Devos has been recalled to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Devos, 21, has recorded 15 points (4g, 11a) in 20 games with Florida this season. The 5-foot-11 rookie forward scored his first professional goal on October 22 at Trenton. Devos won the Jean Beliveau Trophy as the top scorer in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season. The Sorel-Tracy, Quebec native totaled 114 points (47g, 67a) in 68 games played last season split between the Victoriaville Tigres and the Gatineau Olympiques.

Devos helped lead Gatineau to the President's Cup Final last season scoring ten goals and adding 19 assists in just 24 playoff games. In addition to the Béliveau Trophy, Devos was the recipient of the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the QMJHL's Most Sportsmanlike Player.

The Everblades battle the Gwinnett Gladiators tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Germain Arena.
