TONIGHT
The Condors and Aces conclude their weekend set with their sixth meeting of the season. The two clubs have six meetings remaining in the 2011-12 season after tonight's game with the games split evenly between Rabobank and Sullivan Arenas. Alaska is 5-0-1-1 in their last seven games while Bakersfield is 0-8-1 in their last nine games.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Alaska scored once in the first period and once in the second as G Gerald Coleman made the tallies stand up in a 29-save shutout performance, 2-0, over Bakersfield last night in front of 4,545 fans at Rabobank Arena.
Bryan Pitton made his third consecutive start for the Condors and turned aside 26 shots in the losing effort. Tyson Gimblett, Chris Kushneriuk, and Robby Dee each made their Condors debuts last night after being acquired on Thursday.
CONDORS NOTES
The Condors nine-game winless streak (0-8-1) is the longest stretch without a victory in Condors history...RW Scott Freeman is 7th in the ECHL in scoring with 22 points (10g, 12a)...Freeman (2nd) and Mathew Sisca (4th) are both in the top-five in ECHL rookie scoring...Manny Martinez was signed as an emergency backup goaltender prior to yesterday's game and will serve in the same role tonight while G Matt Keetley recovers from an undisclosed injury.
