Flint, Mich. - Mississauga scored a goal in each of the three periods en route to a 3-0 victory over the Firebirds on Friday night.

Nathan Bastian recorded his 12th goal of the season with 2:52 remaining in the opening frame, scoring a power play goal from the right wing circle.

Then, in the second period Michael McLeod scored his 15th of the season from the bottom of the left circle, shortside over Moran's right shoulder to earn a 2-0 lead.

Mississauga's Ryan McLeod scored an empty net goal near the penalty boxes for the final tally of the night with 43 seconds remaining in the contest.

Flint is back in action Sunday night as the Firebirds face off against the Sarnia Sting at the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Center. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m. (EST) and will be televised live in Sarnia on Cogeco TV channel 6 and across the province of Ontario on the OHL Action Pak on channel 461. Fans can listen live in Flint and Mid-Michigan on 1330 AM WTRX Sports Radio and around the world online on the iHeartRadio app. Dominic Hennig will call the play-by-play action on the Flint Firebirds Hockey Radio Network with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Firebirds return back to the Dort Federal Event Center for the final time of the 2015 calendar year on Tuesday, December 29th for College Night. Featuring $2 beers and $2 hot dogs, every home Firebirds game Monday through Thursday is College Night and all college students with valid I.D. receive $2 off their admission.
