Otters Add Mitchell Webb for Pick

Erie, Pennsylvania - Erie Otters General Manager Dave Brown announced today that the team has acquired forward Mitchell Webb from the Saginaw Spirit in exchange for Erie's 10th round selection in 2016.

Webb, a 6'1", 190-pound winger, most recently appeared in 17 games with the St. Catharines Falcons in the GOJHL since joining the team in October. He opened the season playing in six games with the Saginaw Spirit, the same team he suited up for during the 2014-15 season.

"We're excited to add Mitchell Webb to our hockey club," Otters General Manager Dave Brown said. "He has a strong work ethic, great character, and the ability that we believe fits the team we have built over the last few years in Erie."

The 18-year-old, began his OHL career with the Peterborough Petes who drafted him 39th overall in the second round of the 2013 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection. He was acquired by Saginaw in August of 2014.

The Fort Erie, Ontario native has performed in 108 OHL games in his career, tallying three goals and 14 points.
