Spirit Trade Mitchell Webb to Erie

SAGINAW, MI - On Friday afternoon, Saginaw Spirit General Manager Dave Drinkill announced the trade of Forward Mitchell Webb to the Erie Otters for Erie's 10th round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

"Mitch Webb has been a model person on and off the ice for the Saginaw Spirit organization. We want to thank him for everything he has done for us and wish him nothing but the best in the future. We know he will be successful in whatever avenue in life he chooses and hope he makes the best of a fresh start in Erie."

In 74 career games with the Spirit, Webb amassed three goals and ten assists, along with 36 penalty minutes.

The Fort Erie, Ontario native is a second round pick of the Peterborough Petes in the 2013 Priority Selection Draft.
