
Steelheads announce playoff dates, tickets on sale

Boise, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads today announced its 2006-07 ECHL's National Conference, West Division first round playoff schedule and on sale date for tickets against the Stockton Thunder.
If Idaho holds its current 4th place seed, it will open the best-of-seven series at home on Tuesday, April 10th with a Game 2 on Wednesday, April 11th. The teams will play Games 3, 4 and, if needed, Game 5 in Stockton. Games 6 and 7, if needed, would return to Qwest Arena on Wednesday, April 18th and Thursday, April 19th.
If Idaho drops to 5th seed, the first two games of the series will open in Stockton, followed by three possible home games: Game 3 on Sunday, April 15th, Game 4 on Monday, April 16th and, if needed, Game 5 on Wednesday, April 18th. If the series warrants a Game 6 and/or 7, those games would be played in Stockton.

If they remain tied at the end of the season, the team with the most wins breaks the tie. The Steelheads play in 3rd-seeded Bakersfield tomorrow night, followed by the final game of the season in Fresno Saturday. Stockton will close out their season in Las Vegas against the first seed Wranglers Friday and Saturday.
